8. Today is the first day of the rest of my life

Last night I had an excellent leaving party with work colleagues. Much good food and alcohol consumed.

It’s now the morning of Saturday 11th July 2015 (10am) and somehow I have dodged what should have been an almighty hangover. That makes me happy.

What makes me doubly happy is that I am now completely and utterly FREE of structure and the 9-5pm routine!

I have no job holding me back from my plans. Officially unemployed and ready to begin a new chapter.

The slate is clean.

I shall start with a cup of tea in hand and show you my leaving gifts!

I had a long, interesting conversation with the taxi driver on the way home last night. He’s an astrologer as well as a taxi driver and told me that Saturn is on the cusp of some amazing twelve year cycle of some sort and I would be affected by this in a big way. He also said that he was certain that things would work out well for me in Ireland, although I will have to be patient before things come to fruition. He also said he could see me becoming a psychotherapist or counsellor and taking to it like a duck to water due to my natural affinity with people. Haha! I feel like I’ve had my palm read before setting off on a voyage of exploration!

For the rest of the day, I will finally get a proper chance to look at ALL of the jobs and tasks I’ve built up over the last couple of months. There are scraps of paper with ideas scribbled on them, notes saved on my laptop, a million tabs open in Google Chrome and letters confirming things. It will be great to sort things into some kind of order and be able to start working through them in a methodical way.

Right let’s get to it!

Speak in a bit.
